Sensor Inputs
Counters / Anemometers
  • Three digital anemometer inputs
  • Supports dry contact switch, hall effect switch, or TTL level signal
  • RC low pass filter on each input (fc=159 Hz)
  • Inputs pulled to 5 volts with internal 4.7k resistor
  • Measures pulses falling edge to falling edge
    • Pulse time (100 microsecond resolution)
    • Pulse minimum time (100 microsecond resolution)
    • Number of pulses since last measurement (2^16 or 0 to 65,535)
    • Number of pulses total, resettable (2^32 or 0 to 4,294,967,296)
Counters / Anemometers
  • Eight analog inputs, 12 bit (2^12 or 0 to 4095)
    • 1 x 0 to 100 volt, connect to input power jack
    • 2 x 0 to 5 volt, with 200k pull down resistors (typically wind vanes)
    • 1 x 0 to 5 volt, with 4.7k pull up resistor (typically temperature)
    • 4 x 0 to 5 volt, with 2.2k pull up resistors
  • Accessible on RJ-45 connectors
  • Internal 5 volt 0.1% band gap voltage reference
  • RC low pass on all inputs (fc=159 Hz)
  • Current value at time of sampling
  • Average value of configured window
